This sad song is especially one of my favourite Googoosh song. The lyrics cut you like a knife in your heart. She was incredibly diverse in her catalogue of music.....from Sad songs to Dance songs....and more! Googoosh has enjoyed an incredible career........spanning 4 decades. She is very much loved and adored by her fans. She has sung in multiple languages .......all over the world. She has always been an incredible beauty.....and she is still stunning! Her charm is unique and captivating.........she is an originator and expert on using all of attributes to mesmerize you.
When I was a young boy........I had lovely Googoosh posters all over my room. I owned all of her cassettes.........listened to them over a million times. There is a rare quality about GG that her most of her songs make one very happy.....perhaps it is due to the fact that she was so popular during the golden Pahlavi regime.....which causes Iranian people to reminisce about the precious and joyful "Good old days"...... The Pahlavi Regime was incredible, advanced and forging full force into modernization. I must tell you..........I cherish my time there.....as do a prodigious amount of other pro-Pahlavi Iranians.......there is a great longing to be able to go back to Iran....the way it was. I have the horrid moment of being ripped and thrown out of Our own beloved country. Others escaped to avoid persecution and death. Then there were those high ranking individuals who were executed. Our beloved Googoosh is alive and very well............she continues to sing....bring out new albums.....perform at her Sold Out concerts all over the globe! My Family adored her as well. There was an extremely good relationship and closeness between us. She even sang live at Reza's Birthday party......that was indeed another very enjoyable part of that special evening. Please watch all of Googoosh's videos, which are unfortunately not always the best quality....they were created 40 years ago. However , they are watched by our people repeatedly with great joy and wonderful memories. I must note that Googoosh always kept up with the times.
